West Elm has finally arrived in Calgary and can be found in Mount Royal Village (868 16th Ave SW). Before the opening party last night, I took a tour of the space.
The store is already set for Fall and is full of lovely textures.
Furniture and accents in orange and horseradish appeared throughout the store.
I loved the hampers and discovered they are handwoven using millet grass and recycled plastic threads
Each West Elm location carries locally made and designed products.
Prints from The Paper Lover.
Rustic signs from Rural Creative.
Coasters created out of construction salvage by Big City Designs.
MTHARU created these steel and concrete planters.
A collaboration with Fishs Eddy resulted in these gilded word side plates. They would certainly dress up any table.
I was gifted a great tote bag designed by the very talented Alison Hui of The Paper Lover. I also picked up the two missing plates from the collection of Dapper Animal Plates I bought at the Seattle West Elm store and a matching set of tea towels.
West Elm is a really great addition to Calgary and I am definitely looking forward to my next visit.
