During a visit to see my parents, my Mom and I spent a day visiting several of our favourite antique shops. It was a perfect day to finally stop by Useful Things in Parkland County.
The barn is full of great antiques and vintage accessories. I love how the wooden ironing board is displayed as a side table. Have you heard that many people are using ironing boards as standing desks? A really unique work from home hack.
This spinning wheel is a really interesting item that would look great as a sculptural piece in a home.
This is a classic dresser that could work well in a traditional or modern setting.
The second floor is a great space and includes a sale section full of a variety of items.
An antique wood bed adds instant warmth.
An assortment of frames looks lovely grouped together.
The barn is a rustic beauty. I love the metal roof and the tiny windows that run along each side.
The property is a working farm and many of the produce, including eggs, are also available for sale. You can pick up something for dinner and a gorgeous antique table to eat it on.
