While visiting Okotoks this summer, I stopped into The House of Proust Antiques (2 Clark Ave, Okotoks AB) for the first time.
The building was previously known as St. Peter’s Anglican Church and now houses a great antique shop.
The interior is still open and instead of pews, there is a wonderful selection of furniture, lighting and unique accessories. Look at those great portraits on the wall!
I love the original windows in the space.
This cabinet is so lovely and is topped by a collection of vintage bottles. I’ve been slowly buying glassware to store all my pantry supplies and I think I need to go back and pick up a few more for myself.
A selection of items to dress up and use in your kitchen.
A spinning wheel sits on top of a perfectly weathered farmhouse table.
I keep spotting metal picnic baskets everywhere and wish I had room at my place for a few.
I really love when a store creates a collection of similar items and these telephones look great.
Definitely stop by The House of Proust Antiques the next time you are in Okotoks. I also highly recommend lunch at The Heartland Cafe (another converted church) which is just down the street. If you need more of an antique fix while stopping in Okotoks, then see my previous posts on Cozy Cottage.
