A couple of weeks ago, I spent a Saturday hunting for vintage finds. After a stop at “Where on Earth did you get that“s parking lot sale in Airdrie, I headed northeast for my first visit to Infinite Creations Barnwood & Antiques.
I had picked up a card at a market earlier in the summer that listed several antique shops that could be found along Cowboy Trail. As I had only visited one out of the five included on the map, I thought it was time to go on a road trip.
After a very scenic drive, I pulled into the tree-covered yard and was greeted with a plethora of out buildings full of fabulous vintage finds.
I really appreciate it when similar items are organized together. Especially, when a shop (really a yard in this case) has so many buildings and items to sift through. These galvanized tubs, buckets, etc. were all in great shape. There was also a fabulous faded yellow McClary stove tucked up behind them.
It’s not hard to imagine all the great uses for these decorative items as the owner, Penny, creatively displays several pieces.
There isn’t much I don’t like in this picture but I’m really loving the children’s cowboy boots turned into bookends.
There were some great lighting options and furniture to be found in several of the buildings.
It doesn’t take long to get to Infinite Creations Barnwood & Antiques from Calgary and if you love antiques and vintage items it’s definitely a place you don’t want to miss. You can also find Penny next month selling her wares at The Prairie Girls Vintage Market.
