My first Halloween project left me with a few extra images from my “I See All” books, so I decided to use them in a collage. Personal note – several of these images are nightmare-inducing.
I raided my craft stash and found poster board, a black frame and the gold letters I picked up at West Elm while in Seattle.
I used a paint brush and glossy mod podge to glue down each of the images. I also overlapped them to create a layered look.
The paper bubbles up a bit when you paint it over with the mod podge but does dry flat.
The sheen from the glue makes the frightening images sparkle.
Seriously, these books have some creepy pictures in it.
Once the glue was dry, I found the centre of the picture and added the letters.
Here is the finished piece with a dried Chinese lantern.
I love this Halloween collage and the ghoulish images it contains. It is perfect for the season.
